Kenya Unveils Ambitious Fourth Medium Term Plan Towards Vision 2030

In a bold stride towards achieving the Kenya Vision 2030, President Dr. William Ruto launched the fourth Medium Term Plan (MTP IV) today. This plan, a cornerstone of Kenya’s development strategy, outlines the country’s commitment to becoming a globally competitive and prosperous nation with a high quality of life by 2030.

The launch event, held at the Kenya School of Government in Embu, featured a comprehensive presentation of the key highlights of MTP IV by Dr. Esther Mworia. Attorney General Hon. Justin B. N. Muturi E.G.H., presiding over the session, delivered the President’s speech, emphasizing the government’s dedication to meeting its developmental commitments.

The dissemination exercise aims to inform and engage the public about the new Plan and the government’s achievements thus far. This effort is part of a broader national sensitization campaign being conducted at the county level, ensuring that citizens across the country are aware of the initiatives and progress under Vision 2030.

Since 2008, Kenya has implemented three previous medium-term plans, each spanning five years, laying the groundwork for sustained economic growth and development. The MTP IV continues this trajectory, promising significant advancements and reinforcing Kenya’s resolve to transform into a thriving, modern economy by the end of the decade.
