KPL side Bandari FC were held to a barren draw by Murang’a Seal in a league tie played at Mbaraki Sports Ground in Mombasa.
Both teams missed glorious chances to collect the maximum points but settled for one each.
The home sided had a better start of the game, missing a couple of chances through Nahimana Shassiri and Benja Nyamawi but often failing to capitalize. Murang’a SEAL settled into the game pretty well after 20 minutes of play, penetrating bandari’s defence line through attacking mode of former Bandari play maker Joseph Waithira.
The hosts were however dealt a blow after top scorer this season Beja Nyamawi was subbed for youngsters Izzadin Juma five minutes to the end of the first half after sustaining an injury.
