IF YOU ELECT RUTO YOU WILL ONE DAY CRY BECAUSE HE ISAN EVIL MAN,”UHURU KENYATTA’S WARNING ABOUT RUTO

Kenyans are left in political dilemma after the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua was impeached after
the voting took place in senate despite the absentia of the accused. This happens years after the previous
president Uhuru Kenyatta had warned Kenyans about William Ruto questioning his leadership.

In one of his strongest public criticisms, President Uhuru Kenyatta issued a stark warning to Kenyans
regarding his Deputy William Ruto, whom he described as corrupt and untrustworthy. Back in 2022 while
speaking in his home region of Kiambu, Uhuru urged voters in the Mt. Kenya region to reject Ruto’s bid
for the presidency, warning that they would deeply regret their decision if they chose him.

In one of his speeches Uhuru bluntly stated, “If you elect Ruto, you will one day cry because he is an evil
man.” His remarks painted Ruto as a leader more concerned with personal ambition than the welfare of
the people, suggesting that Ruto’s focus was on self-enrichment rather than serving the public. The
president further implied that Ruto and his political allies were driven by greed and had little concern for
the common good.

On the contrary Uhuru also took the opportunity to endorse Raila Odinga, the Azimio presidential
candidate, terming him as the more experienced and reliable option for Kenyans. “I am supporting him
because he is a good man who has always listened to me,” Uhuru said.

He underscored his concerns about Ruto’s leadership, questioning his integrity and suggesting that
Ruto’s corruption made him unfit to lead the nation. Uhuru encouraged Kenyans to choose a leader with
proven experience and a track record of service.

This was just one in a series of speeches where Uhuru openly criticized Ruto, as the political temperature
rose ahead of the 2022 general elections.

Now Kenyans are regretting their choice of leader seeing that the Nation is a sinking boat from the
Education sector, health sector, economic sector and transport sector. The lack of accountability and
incompetence are some of the attribution leaders are seen using to rule this country.
